Habits - Support

Updated 7 September 2026

What the app does

Habits is a habit tracker without pressure. Add a habit, choose how many times a day you want to do it (1 to 5), optionally set reminder times, and tap a dot each time you do it. Streaks count only the days the habit is scheduled for. Medals are earned for the total number of completed days: bronze at 7, silver at 21, gold at 60. A missed day ends the current streak but never takes away medal progress.

Common questions

Where is my data? Only on your phone. There is no account and no server. Uninstalling the app removes everything.

I forgot to mark yesterday. Use the arrows or tap the date on the Today screen to go back up to 60 days and mark the day.

Reminders do not arrive. Check that notifications are allowed for Habits in your phone settings. On Android 14 and newer, allow Alarms and reminders for Habits - from version 1.0.3 there is a button for this in Habits Settings, under Notifications - otherwise the phone may deliver reminders up to an hour late. On some phones (Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei) also allow the app to run in the background in the battery settings; these phones stop background apps aggressively.

What does "Later" in a reminder do? It postpones that reminder by 10 minutes, once.

Can I change the language? The app follows your phone language: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Indonesian. Other phone languages show English.

How is "Best streak" counted? The same way as the current streak: consecutive scheduled days that were completed. Since version 1.0.2 a missed day ends the streak instead of being counted.
